Must be able to refract, perform applanation, obtain accurate patient history, along with knowledge of OCT and IOL Master. We have clinic on three days. The assistant will also be responsible for other duties on the days we do not have clinic scheduled. Some of those duties are eprescribing, scheduling appointments, filing charts, some clerical work, returning patient calls and HIPPA coordinator.
