Job Description
Ophthalmic Assistant/Retina Asheville Eye Associates 21 Medical Park Drive, Asheville, NC 28803 Ophthalmic Assistant This individual is responsible for providing chair-side doctor assistance, obtaining chief complaint, medical history, performing diagnostic tests as required by physicians, administering treatment as allowed and ordered by the physician, including intravitreal injections , and documentation into EMR. This position will require travel to our satellite offices 1-2 shifts per week. Paid travel time and transportation is provided. Note that travel days may require meeting with the travel team as early as 4:45am for departure. On-the-job training available
