Position Summary Under supervision, the Ophthalmic Assistant works with Ophthalmologists to provide patient care in a clean, well-lit office setting. Their responsibilities include preparing patients, performing exams and tests, administering medications and treatments, assisting with procedures, educating patients, maintain records, monitoring patients and maintaining equipment. Minimum Requirements 0 years of experience required. 1 year experience preferred. High School or Equivalent (GED) Preferred Requirements Ophthalmic competencies preferred: Fundus photography Ocular Coherence Tomography Automated and Manual Biometry Corneal Topography and Tomography Automated Visual Field testing Specular Microscopy Fluorescein and ICG angiography Ophthalmic Ultrasound/UBM testing

Other Information Primary Shift:

Day Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
