Optometric Technician Plaistow Family Eyecare 161 Main Street, Plaistow, NH 03865 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and support to our optometrists. You will assist with various clinical tasks, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of service during their visits. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, optical systems, and retail sales, along with excellent communication skills. Job being offered will start part time with potential to grow to full time with benefits. Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary eye exams and record patient history, including vital signs.
• Assist optometrists in performing eye examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate records of patient encounters.
• Operate optical equipment and ensure all tools are sanitized and maintained.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience. Experience Candidates should have prior experience or knowledge in the following areas:
• Willingness to learn medical terminology related to optometry.
• Willing to learn anatomy as it pertains to the eye and vision care.
• Experience in a medical office environment is preferred but not required.
