Ophthalmic Technician Cohen Eye Institute Ridgewood, NY 11385 Job description Growing Ophthalmology practice located in Ridgewood, Queens is looking to expand their team and is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician. Ophthalmology experience and bilingual required. Candidates will posses the following necessary skills: Interpersonal skills with ability to interact with patients and work well with physicians, management, and staff. Pleasant demeanor Strong organization with attention to detail Multi tasker Proficient writing and communication skills Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Inform patients of the purpose of all tests Obtain patient history to include reason for visit, past history (ocular and overall), family history, history of allergies and medications EMR, Auto-refraction, iCare, Lensometry, Fundus photography, Visual Field, Pachymetry, OCT testing, Topography, UBM, Bscan We look forward to hearing from you!
