Clinical Ophthalmic Technician Coastal Eye Care of James Island 1606 Harbor View Road, Charleston, SC 29412 About us Coastal Eye Care of James Island. Providing excellence in eye care on James Island for 30 years. Coastal Eye Care is looking for a motivated and friendly candidate to work closely with the optometrist to bring excellence in eye care to the James Island and surrounding communities. Duties include pretesting patients with autorefraction, lensometry, visual acuities, and detailed patient history. The technician with also be operating the optical coherence tomographer, retina camera and visual field machine. Other responsibilities include being in charge of our patients contact lens needs and some assistance with eyeglasses. Previous experience is recommended but a positive attitude and winning personality is required!
