JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Orders new orders/remakes/warranties through the wholesale lab as they come in daily. Manages remakes and warranties and ensures that the company receives the appropriate credit. Completes all optical jobs received on a daily basis ensuring they meet ANSI standards. Sends all completed jobs to their appropriate location. Maintains stock inventory for all lenses. Maintains stock inventory for all Chemistry Clip accessories. Completes all plano Surgery Center jobs daily. Maintains lab invoicing and corrects any discrepancies. Orders lab supplies as needed. Ensures all lab equipment is up to date on maintenance and communicates any issues with the Optical Manager. Assists in lensometry classes quarterly. Contacts patients daily to set up appointments to bring their own frames in to have their new lenses custom fitted. Assists Opticians with orders to verify availability at the wholesale lab and what is best for the patients. Dispenses eyewear to patients as needed. Assists opticians with patients, with custom shapes for frames as needed. Must comply with all HIPPA and safety policies, procedures, and regulations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years experience. ABO Certification or actively seeking certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Position operates in a professional office environment requiring minimal physical activity.
