Job Description
Optometric Assistant Family Eyecare Center Kissimmee, FL 34744 A passion for eye care and general patient health is essential to provide the best experience to our patients. Exceptional customer service skills , strong phone skills, friendly personality, and an ability to learn new skills. Must be a team player for our busy practice and make all patients welcome at check in/out. Must be detail-oriented, dependable, organized, and someone who strives to exceed expectations. Must have at least 1 year of work experience in optical or as an optometric assistant. Must have a professional appearance, and 5•-star customer service skills. English and Spanish bilingual skills are required.• Front desk responsibilities Greeting patients Electronic chart preparation Scheduling Insurance verification/ Billing Answering phones Confirming appointments at the end of the day Call no- shows and reschedule Properly turn on/off all equipment at beginning/ end of day Check in/ out patient.
