The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of optical products and services, providing exceptional customer service while assisting patients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescription and lifestyle needs. Provide detailed information about lenses, frames, and other optical products. Perform fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear. Maintain accurate patient records and prescriptions. Collaborate with optometrists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Handle billing inquiries and process payments efficiently. Manage inventory levels of optical products, ensuring availability for customers. Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology. Qualifications Previous experience in an optometry setting is preferred. Knowledge of terminology related to eyewear is essential. Familiarity with vision billing processes is a plus. Strong retail sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Understanding of retail math for inventory management and sales analysis. Experience in retail management is advantageous but not required. Ability to maintain organized medical records and adhere to confidentiality standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
