Key Responsibilities:
Guide patients through frame and lens selection tailored to their individual needs Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and enhancements Accurately explain vision insurance benefits and discount plans Place eyewear orders and track their progress Use a lensometer to verify prescriptions Troubleshoot and resolve eyewear concerns Dispense, adjust, and repair eyeglasses Take precise optical measurements Read and interpret prescriptions Maintain organized frame inventory Ensure proper fitting and satisfaction with prescription eyewear Schedule eye exam appointments Uphold HIPAA compliance and use of electronic health records (EHR)
Qualifications:
