We are a luxury eyewear retailer seeking a dedicated Optician’s Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to grow in a sophisticated retail environment while supporting licensed opticians and helping our clients look and see their best. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses, ensuring optimal vision care. This role requires a strong understanding of optical products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. About the
Role:
As an Optician’s Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting opticians in selecting luxury frames that suit clients’ style, face shape, and prescription needs. Educating clients on lens options, proper care and use of their eyewear. Performing basic lab work, frame adjustments, and minor repairs. Merchandising the sales floor to ensure an elegant and organized presentation. Maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the boutique. Utilize retail math skills to manage sales transactions effectively. Staying informed about the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology. Providing outstanding customer service with professionalism and warmth. Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory of optical supplies. Experience Previous experience in eyewear, optical retail, or luxury sales is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment Familiarity with retail systems and basic math for sales transactions
