SKILLED, CUSTOMER-FOCUSED OPTICIAN
to join our dedicated team. Full-time position(32-40 hours/week) 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm Friday.

Position Summary:
As one of our opticians, you will play a vital role in ensuring every patient receives outstanding service and expert guidance in selecting the best eyewear to meet their visual and lifestyle needs. You will work closely with the doctor and support staff to provide seamless patient experiences from exam to eyewear.
Responsibilities:
All employees are cross-trained in all aspects of the practice. Assist patients with frame selection, lens options, and proper fit based on prescription and lifestyle Take accurate measurements including PDs, seg heights, and frame adjustments Verify and interpret prescriptions from the optometrist Place and track orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses Perform adjustments and minor repairs to eyewear Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies Educate patients on lens technology and eyewear care Ensure a clean, organized, and professional optical dispensary Use EHR and optical software for patient records and order management
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of optical experience (licensed or unlicensed optician) Strong knowledge of current lens technologies, frame materials, and fitting techniques Excellent communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with Crystal Practice Management is a plus
