Optician Position Available In York, South Carolina

Optician Poole Eyecare PA 121 Bethel Street, Clover, SC 29710 Overview Poole Eyecare is a small town eyecare practice with a high patient volume optical shop. We are searching for an experienced Optical Fitter to join our team. The position requires at least one year of hands-on experience fitting eyeglasses and lenses, being comfortable navigating vision insurance and authorizations, and being dependable. Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription and lifestyle needs Accurately take measurements and fit eyeglasses Process vision insurance claims and authorizations Provide adjustments and repairs as needed Maintain a clean and organized optical space Experience A minimum of 1 year of optical experience is required Familiarity with vision insurance plans and medical terminology related to eye care Must be reliable and consistently present during scheduled work hours Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks. Not Required but Desirable Experience with lens edging or working directly with optical labs Benefits Competitive hourly wage: $18-$30/hour based on experience 80 hours of Paid Time Off annually Vision benefits Growth opportunities
