What you’ll do: As an Associate Optometrist at Eyes on Sunrise, you will conduct routine eye exams, scleral lens fittings, and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment. Pretesting of each patient includes iCare Tonometry, Optomap, and previous eyewear checked. In addition, you will have access to equipment such as OCT, Visual Field, Topcon Digital Phoropters, Topcon slit lamp camera, and a firefly slit lamp camera. In addition, you will specialize in treating Meibomian Gland Dysfunction using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), Radiofrequency (RF), and Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) technologies. Exams are scheduled every 30 minutes, with up to 1 hour allocated for full dry eye evaluations when necessary. This position offers part-time employment for 20-30 hours per week, typically on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, ensuring each patient receives attentive and compassionate care.
