• This position is part of the VBA MDE (Veterans BenefitsAdministration Medical Disabilities Examinations) program.
• Start date:
• ASAP Pending Training & Credentialing

• Schedule:

• Part Time, Monday-Friday
• C&P exams (Compensation and Pension Exams)
• Gain valuable professional experience and help make a differencein the lives of America’s heroes

• Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Review pertinent medical history documentation and performone-time, non-treatment vision compensation and pension exams forVeterans
• Capture responses during exam through a web-based examinationform; all documentation is completed electronically
• Visual Field Testing may be required and all equipment will besupplied
• Exams are a comprehensive eye exam to evaluate for loss ofvision, glaucoma, injury to eye, etc.; no refractive services
• What You’ll Need to Qualify for this

Role:

• Must be an actively licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, havegood interpersonal skills and willingness to be flexible and adaptto changing situations
• Must possess basic computer skills and be able to complete onlinedocumentation
• Compensation exam or VA experience is preferred, but notrequired
• Current CPR and BLS
