QUALIFICATIONS

Business acumen, self-discipline, and the ability to deal tactfully with patients. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school. Successful completion of the National Board examination and a National, Regional, or State clinical examination. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions. Provide patient care by developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens usage, and optical products. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and manage referrals. Utilize EMR and EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
