Duties Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when necessary. Stay informed about advancements in optometry practices and medical terminology. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction throughout their visit. Offering lens recommendations based on patient needs. Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice optometry. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to optometry and ophthalmology. Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service. Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients about their eye health.

$150,000.00 – $220,000.00 per year
