The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optometry and be passionate about delivering high-quality eye care. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases
• Diagnose and treat visual problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
• Monitor patients for signs of ocular diseases or conditions
• Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices Requirements
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program; active state license and valid CPR certificate
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to optometry
• Proficiency in using optometric systems and equipment
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Knowledge of vital signs relevant to eye health
• Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
• Two-plus years of optometrist experience preferred
