Associate Optometrist for Dry Eye Referral Center Dry Eye Equation | Wilmington, NC Dry Eye Equation, a nationally recognized dry eye specialty clinic in Wilmington, NC, is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join our referral-based practice. Founded by Dr. Crystal Brimer, we focus exclusively on ocular surface disease using cutting-edge technology and customized treatments. Responsibilities Diagnose and manage ocular surface disease with a dedicated focus on dry eye treatment. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety. Maintain detailed medical records, examination results, and treatment plans. Provide education to patients regarding eye health, and treatment options. Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies. Utilize advanced technologies including Oculus 5M, Lipiflow, IPL, and Tixel Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of physiology related to ocular health. Familiarity with medical records management systems and HIPAA regulations. Proficient in medical coding and terminology relevant to optometry practices. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
