Optometrist (OD)
Education andExperience Requirements:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from anaccredited institution required.
License in good standing topractice Optometry in the state in which you will be practicingprior to beginning employment required.
National ProviderIdentification (NPI) required.
TPA License required.
Prior clinicaloptometry experience in a retail, educational, or medical officesetting a plus; all are welcome to apply.
This position requires theability to communicate and exchange information, utilize equipmentnecessary to perform the job, and move about the office.
Usingcommonly accepted practices, tools and techniques, the Optometrist(OD) evaluates patient’s vision and health care needs, documentsfindings in patient records and consults with patients regardingthe current status and future requirements associated with theirindividualized vision care needs. The Optometrist (OD) works inclose collaboration with the office team to provide compassionatecare that ensures all patient visits are personalized, memorableand the best patient experience possible.
