Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional eye care services to our patients and contribute to the overall success of our practice. ## Duties

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health
• Diagnose and treat visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
• Monitor and manage various eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy
• Perform specialized testing including visual field testing and retinal imaging
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care ## Requirements
• Strong background in patient care with a focus on senior care
• Knowledge of ophthalmology, physiology, and optical principles
• Familiarity with medical coding, medical records, and HIPAA regulations
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients.

Qualifications:

• Licensed in New York State Board Certified or Eligible
• 1+ year of experience preferred but not required
• Active New York State license
• Bilingual in English and Chinese(Mandarin, Cantonese)
