PART TIME

OVERVIEW:

Evaluating patients’ vision needs and documenting findings in their records. Consults with patients regarding the current status and future requirements associated with their needs. Working closely with the office team to provide care, ensuring all visits are curated in the best way possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducting comprehensive eye exams Prescribe and fit corrective lenses and/or contact lenses Educating patients on proper eye care, including the use of contacts and glasses Referrals- collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide patient care regarding dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree- License in good standing to practice optometry in the state in which you will be practicing. National Provider Identification (NPI) required Prior experience in a retail office setting This position requires the ability to exchange information and utilize the equipment necessary to perform the job.
