OPTOMETRY EXAMINER
•Ideal for supplemental income. Low Risk — no treatment or follow up care involved•Seeking Optometrist/Ophthalmologist to complete disability exams with veterans (1099 position)
Required Qualifications:
Doctorate degree from a college or university accredited by either the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOM) or completion of medical school with residency in ophthalmology. Active state license in good standing Malpractice insurance Computer, reliable internet Ability to complete visual field test with appropriate equipment Provider must have their own office space • Compensation & Pension exams are onetime non-treatment exams where the provider evaluates the veteran. Provider is not responsible for making any determinations regarding veterans’ benefits, rather just submitting your findings in the medical report.
