New Jersey Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prosthetist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and service, with a focus on providing high-quality prosthetic solutions to enhance the quality of life for our patients. This role requires expertise in anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. Responsibilities Assess patients’ needs through comprehensive physical examinations and consultations. Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic devices tailored to individual patient requirements. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety during procedures. Provide ongoing patient education regarding the use and maintenance of prosthetic devices. Collaborate with medical teams to develop treatment plans that cater to both pediatric and adult patients. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to prosthetics as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and device specifications. Requirements A degree in Prosthetics/Orthotics or a related field is required. in the state of New Jersey Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Excellent patient care and service skills, with a compassionate approach to treatment. Ability to perform physical examinations effectively and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
