Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the medical transport team during critical care missions. Conduct patient assessments to determine the appropriate level of care required. Utilize triage skills to prioritize patient needs effectively. Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during all procedures. Manage airway interventions and support as necessary. Oversee the use and maintenance of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) during transport. Provide guidance and training to team members on anatomy knowledge and emergency protocols. Collaborate with emergency room staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions. Perform heavy lifting as required for patient handling and equipment management. Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and transport details. Qualifications Proven experience in critical care transport or emergency medical services is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, airway management, and emergency protocols. Ability to drive under various conditions while ensuring safety standards are met. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction. Ability to perform under pressure with a focus on patient-centered care. Certification in relevant medical training or licensure as required by local regulations. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
