Positions, moves, and assists patients. Performs clerical duties.

Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and todepartmental standards. Responsibility to adhere to the HospitalCorporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of alllocal, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of allaccrediting bodies. /n /n/n /n The value you’ll bring to the team:/n /n/n /n/n /n

• Performs all exams using established protocols.

Uses facility policy for proper identification of patient prior toperforming exam. Educates patient concerning exam. Properly screenspatients for any contrast allergies /n /n

• Performs all types ofimaging procedures and operates all equipment safely and properlyincluding scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patientsof all ages, adapting protocols as necessary /n /n

• Properlyscreens patients of childbearing age and operates all imagingequipment in a safe manner minimizing radiation exposure topatients, families, and co-workers. Practices infection controlstandards and utilizes approved personal protective equipment (PPE)and disinfectant agents. Maintains properly stocked, organized andclean room /n /n
• Completes required documentation for Radiologistsupport /n /n/n /n/n /n Qualifications /n /n The expertise andexperiences you’ll need to succeed: /n /n/n /n/n /n
• Associate orequivalent two years of experience in a related field /n /n
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Science program /n /n
• 2 yearsexperience Required /n /n
• BCLS
• Basic Life Support /n /n
• ARRTRadiography Certification Completion of Radiologic Technologytraining and A.R.R.T. registration /n /n
