Pay Rate:

$26.52 per hour (Opportunity for higher pay rate of $28.37 per hour depending on worksite assignment and qualifications.) Your Critical Responsibilities as a

Paramedic:

As a Paramedic with Cambridge Security Services, you’ll play a vital role in delivering immediate and life-saving care.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Emergency Response:

Operating ambulance equipment and swiftly responding to radio transmissions.

Team Leadership:

Leading and coordinating the team’s response during medical emergencies.

Patient Assessment:

Evaluating patient conditions at the scene and conducting preliminary diagnoses.

Advanced Medical Treatment:

Administering a full range of pre-hospital treatments, including first aid, CPR, injections, oxygen, and, when necessary, surgical procedures.

Equipment Proficiency:

Utilizing state-of-the-art medical equipment and tools to stabilize patients and provide immediate treatment.

Patient Monitoring:

Continuously monitoring patients’ conditions during transport to medical facilities.

Collaborative Care:

Collaborating effectively with various stakeholders, including law enforcement, fire departments, and hospital personnel.

Detailed Reporting:

Writing and submitting thorough and accurate incident reports.

Compliance:

Adhering strictly to established medical protocols, legal guidelines, and all health and safety standards.

Continuous Learning:

Staying updated on the latest treatment and medical procedures through ongoing training and professional development.

What We’re Looking For:

To excel in this critical role, you should meet the following requirements: Valid Florida Paramedic Certification (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Proven experience as a paramedic. A solid understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and medications. The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging and high-pressure situations. High level of adaptability and stamina. Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices. Integrity and genuine compassion for those experiencing pain and distress. A valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent.
