Paramedic (Full Time) Riverside County Sign OnBonus $15,000 Sign On Bonus is applicable to Full Time Paramedichires only and does NOT apply to internal employees within AmericanMedical Response. Please contact Human Resources for Bonusagreement details. Two (2) year commitment agreement with theCompany may apply. Eligibility for those employees who are rehiredwill depend on break in service time from the company.

POSITIONSUMMARY

The mission and purpose this position is tocompassionately deliver high-quality service and basic, as well asadvanced patient care in a professional, caring and cost-effectivemanner.

Paramedic Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assesseach call situation to determine best course of action andappropriate protocol. Utilize medical equipment and proceduresincluding defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices,intravenous fluids, CPR and other procedures and medications asrequired to provide advanced medical care. Develop and utilizetriage skills to provide optimal efficiency during calls. Paramedicwill provide patient care according to clinical protocols andsafety requirements. Lift and move patients as required to provideoptimum care. Communicate with receiving facility to receivemedical direction and to provide critical information. Paramedic MinimumQualifications:

Education/Licensing/Certification:

High schooldiploma or equivalent (GED) CA Drivers’ License Ambulance Driver’sLicense (from DMV) Medical Examiner’s Card or DL51 (from DMV) Stateof California Paramedic License CPR Card ( American HeartAssociation ONLY, Health Care Provider. Hand written cards are notacceptable ) ACLS Card ( American Heart Association ONLY, handwritten cards are not acceptable ) PALS ( American HeartAssociation ONLY, hand written cards are not acceptable ) OR PEPP(only required for Riverside & Ventura Co. applicants) Drivingrecord in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy ( proofrequired if conditional employment is made ) ICS courses, pleaserefer to link .

Experience:

Salary Range:

$28.40 – $39.71 DOE (Thisrate applies to 12-hour shift and average 42 per week)
