HHOPE Peer Mentor 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Laud Lakes, FL 33319 HHOPE Team Peer Mentor This position requires a High School degree or equivalent; some college is preferred. The candidate should be in recovery from mental illness or substance abuse. Previous experience with homelessness is helpful. Candidate should have familiarity with local community resources, basic social work procedures, practices and methods. Candidate should have the ability to relate will to others. Candidate should also have the ability to utilize good judgment, demonstrate willingness to take direction; have the ability to follow consumer eligibility or other program protocols and to conduct eligibility screenings. A valid Florida driver’s license and auto insurance coverage of $50,000/$100,000/$50,000 are required.
