$32.9K – $39.7K a year 14 hours ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description The Patient Experience Navigator is responsible for enhancing the patient and family experience throughout the healthcare journey. This role serves as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care and seamless communication. Key Responsibilities Serve as a consistent point of contact for patients and families throughout their care experience Act as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical/non-clinical departments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Document and escalate patient feedback and service recovery needs to appropriate leadership. Participate in initiatives to improve the patient experience and implement best practices.

Daily Duties:

Ensure coffee, drinks, and small snacks available daily in the waiting area. Print daily surgical/procedural area schedules. Check families into the waiting area. Orient the family to the area and location of restrooms, vending machines, and cafeteria. Help families navigate the hospital and provide directions. Ensure all families have a tracker card for the patient with the patients HIPPA compliant number. When checking families into the waiting area, inquire if they used the valet car service and if the patient is being discharged to the discharge lounge call the valet service and have them bring the car around to the discharge lounge. Call OR RN phone and get updates on patients hourly and update the family. When the patient is settled in PACU, escort one family member to the PACU to visit and then return with them to the waiting area. When checking the family into the waiting area, please get a good contact number for them if they leave for the surgeon to be able to call and give them an update.
