out of 5 stars 13211 Us Highway 1, Juno Beach, FL 33408 Beach House Center for Recovery is a well-established treatment facility in Palm Beach County that offers a full continuum of care to adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our goal is to give patients the freedom they have been waiting for by placing an emphasis on the healing power of love and connection. We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Connection & Experience Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for patient complaints and inquiries, responding promptly and resolving issues in a timely and empathetic manner. Conduct follow-up calls to past patients, alumni, and family members to engage them in the alumni program and provide information about opportunities and activities. Educate current patients on the importance of ongoing involvement in alumni activities post-treatment. Request alumni testimonial submissions and patient reviews. Assess and monitor patient satisfaction levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the patient experience. Access and share protected health information (PHI) only as necessary for job duties while protecting patient privacy. Handle phone inquiries, provide information about the treatment program, and offer referrals for ineligible individuals. Notify concerned individuals of patient arrivals when necessary. Answer and direct phone calls courteously and accurately, take messages as designated. Complete thorough intake paperwork in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines. Instruct new patients in completing intake and transfer paperwork. Process and inventory patient belongings, report contraband, and assist with transitioning patients to programming. Assist in medical record maintenance and ensure appropriate distribution of paperwork. Recognize and respond to potential crisis situations, providing appropriate intervention and assistance. Effectively communicate the recovery process and support patients during the intake/transfer process. Perform UA and Breathalyzer tests following protocol. Assist with inquiries, order processing, and issue resolution. Maintain patient accounts/payment cards and records. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during challenging times, working collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure patient safety and well-being. Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health
Knowledge & Experience:
Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building. Knowledge of 12-Step Recovery Programs Knowledge of alcohol and other drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual impact on the individual and their impact on the family. Ability to determine if a medical emergency exists and to take appropriate action, when necessary. Knowledge of emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose. Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.
