Job Description
On-Site Account Advisor- Volusia County, FL The On-Site Account Advisor will report and reside at the Volusia County School Board with the HR & Benefits team. They will be on site daily and work directly with the VCSB HR & Benefits team, the School Boards Broker, the Assigned Curative Account Executive, and the Curative Health Plan department leaders to ensure that all members are receiving the highest level of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and enhance relationships with Volusia County School Board departments, understanding each of their business goals and key initiatives, and seeking opportunities to enhance value for all parties while educating all participants on Curative.
Will be customer facing for day-to-day support of client / member needs.
Provide pro-active information / guidance with members of VCSB on an ongoing basis.
Handle and resolve escalated issues related to eligibility, billing/invoicing, customer service, claims, network and /or any service-related matters ensuring resolution and member satisfaction.
Thorough understanding of the Curative products and services offered to VCSB.
Utilize Sales Force to document pertinent client information.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, clinical, network and finance to ensure seamless delivery of services and support to constituents.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide clients with insightful initiative-taking advice.
Coordinate and conduct Open Enrollment meetings, along with assisting with new hire orientation to ensure all members of VCSB make informed decisions about their benefits.
Be a liaison to Curative leadership on industry and market demands to impact process, product, and tech development, along with any process improvements.
Aid the HR & Benefits team in coordinating with Wellness initiatives that tie back into Curative education.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation skills across a continuum of audiences.
Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry, business practices, trends, and developments.
Experience interfacing at all levels internally, with clients, brokers, consultants, and any external partners required.
Adept in planning, influencing, leading change, working in a challenging environment, and multi-
tasking skills required.
Detailed oriented with solid organizational and planning skills.
Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace and Adobe.
Willingness to travel 75% – 100%, including overnights.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Bilingual in English and Spanish
REQUIRED LICENSES
State Health, Life and Variable Annuity license.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK/TRAVEL
This is a full-time position, and core hours of work are predicated by the School Board, primarily Monday through Friday. This position may at times require extended working hours and weekend work. Travel may be applicable.
