Job Description
Patient Liaison 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Acton, MA 01720 The Patient Access Liaison provides phone-based customer service and provides essential assistance to our patients by answering non-clinical questions, taking detailed messages, and sending tasks to the appropriate clinical team for follow-up. This role reduces nurse call line hold/wait times and helps to improve the patient experience. No clinical experience is required for this position. The ideal candidate has strong phone-based customer service skills, active listening, and great communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works on site to support the clinical operations of AMA-PC. The option to work remotely will depend on training and performance evaluation. Answers calls from patients, takes a message and sends to the appropriate team. Follows guidelines as set forth by nursing manager. Relays messages, verbatim, to patients as written by the provider. Stays current with procedures, policies and protocols. Maintains patient confidentiality. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or some college. Medical office experience a plus. A friendly and courteous personality. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
