Patient Advocate Job Description Ritual Dental 321 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10013 About the Role We’re in search of a dynamic Patient Advocate to join our clinical Operations team. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to influence the patient experience, collaborating with our dental specialists, as well as Ritual’s product and technology teams. This is an in-person role, full or part-time, and is based in New York City. Responsibilities The Patient Advocate is primarily responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience, from check in to check out and beyond.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting patients and welcoming them to Ritual Dental Appointment scheduling & management Verifying patient insurance eligibility Collecting payments & co pays Communicating with patients via phone, email or via Ritual’s messaging platform Maintaining a safe, clean and well organized front desk and patient waiting area Providing detailed descriptions of dental treatments, services, and retail products provided at Ritual Dental Present treatment plans to patients and discuss financial responsibility Answering patients’ questions & empower with knowledge Qualifications & SkillsMust Have 2 or more years experience working in a Dental Practice Excellent verbal & written communication skills Strong computer literacy Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment Experience working with patient booking software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc) Can demonstrate knowledge of common dental procedures Experience with insurance eligibility and ADA codes Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and some Saturdays Nice to Have Experience working in a tech enabled company Experience working in a multi-specialty practice

Job Types:
Part-time, Contract Pay:

$24.00 – $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
