Professional Case Management is seeking Patient Liaison to join our thriving Impairments team out of our Oak Ridge, TN Office! You will get the opportunity to perform advisory activities with prospective patients (i.e. claimants or clients) which facilitates our Impairment Evaluation (IE) practice operations. You will assist our Doctor so you need to have an active RN license. This candidate also must live within a 45-minute drive of Oak Ridge, TN. Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability Collaborating with PCM’s Navigators to facilitate smooth transitions from the Auth process to scheduling of prospective clients (claimants) for their appointment. Educating prospective IE clients on the benefits to them surrounding an Impairment Evaluation. Offers subject matter expertise and creativity in helping claimants whose circumstances lie outside of established processes. Sending written correspondence to claimants in order to acquire necessary clinical information ahead of their IE appointment. Obtain test results, medical records, and other information necessary for the Impairment Physician to perform the Impairment Evaluation. Schedule the Impairment Evaluation, in-person or over the phone. Diligently maintains claimant contact records in Salesforce and follow established policies and processes for claimant follow up. Build strong relationships with team members in the PCM Marketing organization (CWP Help Center, Outreach Coordinators), IE Navigators, and IE physicians. Provide exceptional customer service to claimants. Look for opportunities to engage claimants regarding PCM Home Care services when appropriate. Qualifications High school graduate; college degree preferred. Active RN license Knowledge of the EEOICPA program and key stakeholders’ operating practices (e.g. DOL Resource Centers) is strongly preferred. Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong computer skills. Speaks, reads, writes, and comprehends English. Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, and ability to function with minimal direction. Previous experience in sales is helpful, but not required. The ideal candidate must be able to influence and motivate prospective clients to complete a process (minimize “fallout”) Has strong phone skills – this role requires extensive time on the phone but is not considered a Call Center position. The typical base pay range for this role is USD $54,080 – $74,880 per year. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
