Job Description

Mid-State Endoscopy Center is Hiring a Front Desk Patient Advocate No Weekends, no call, no Holiday! Welcome to Mid-State Endoscopy Center! Mid-State Endoscopy Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Front Desk Patient Advocate at Mid-State Endoscopy Center The patient advocate will work with the clinical staff to assist in delivering outstanding patient service by helping the patient and their family navigate the patient experience. The patient advocate has the responsibility to act as a liaison between the patient/patients’ family and clinical staff. The patient advocate will assist in monitoring and developing an enriching experience for the patients by following up with patients at discharge, when in the PSU and post discharge. Insights and information gathered from patients and their family members that are communicated to appropriate staff members will enable the staff to respond to patient experience issues through service recovery or adaptation to the patients’ needs or expectations. The patient advocate will perform morning lobby duty, assist in communication with patients and family members, monitor daily schedule, escort patients and family members, inpatient rounding, assist with patient relations, weekly reporting to supervisor. Required Experience:

High School Diploma/GED Experience in public relations, customer service, medical office, patient relations, scheduling a plus Excellent communication skills. Good organization habits. Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery process and management of the flow of the surgical patient. #LI-SB1 #USP-123
