POSITION SUMMARY
The primary duty includes transporting clients receiving services to and from clinical settings. Assists clients in boarding and leaving the vehicle. Ensures the safety and sanitary conditions of the vehicle. Responsible for scheduling transportation for clients. Will also be responsible for administrative duties assigned as well as monitoring clients on premises when not transporting.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in the mental health field or health care setting preferred. BHT certification preferred. Must be at least 21 years old or older, and valid FL driver’s license with minimal points. Must be able to communicate clearly and appropriately with patients, co-workers, and visitors. Must have leadership skills. Must meet minimum requirements for providers with which agency contracts.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Monitoring patients according to program policies and procedures Managing and organizing the continuous workflow of the workspace including the cleanliness of the vehicles and workspace. Maintain proper vehicle checks and use of driver safety standards for client transportation Acquire general knowledge of agency services available for clients. Communicate effectively and maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external resources. Complete documentation and/or data entry per program requirements. Professional and courteous communication with patients, staff, and outside providers. Other duties as needed per program requirements.

: Provides exceptional customer service in all communications and interactions with staff and the general public. Maintains confidentiality and remains calm under stress. Assists staff with support in all areas of functional responsibility in a courteous, supportive manner. Maintains and exhibits servant leadership qualities and exceeds customers’ expectations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
General climate-controlled health care setting. Most work completed entails operating a motor vehicle. Interface with clients in an outpatient or acute care inpatient environment. Fast-paced. Multi-tasking requires above-average time management skills. Team approach. Mon-Fri 7:00 AM-3:30PM Full-Time Employment
