Job Description

Patient Transporter-ED Radiology, Weekend Nights 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Winston-Salem, NC 27157 Patient Transporters delivers exceptional hospitality to patients and guest with attentiveness, friendliness, and efficiency. Transports patients to various areas, including those with special equipment, and manages equipment storage and maintenance.

Position Highlights :

Located in Winston Salem, NC Full-Time; 36 hours per week Nights – Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 6:30p – 7a

How You’ll Impact Patient care : Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Transports patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support areas via wheelchair, stretcher, or beds. Maintains a safe environment for patients, self, guests and co-workers. Knowledgeable of transporting patients with oxygen, intravenous pumps and restraints. Communicates to team, co-workers, patients, and guests in a positive and professional manner. Takes initiative for performance and professional development. Knowledgeable of all aspects and functionalities of the Transport Tracking System. Provides age/developmentally appropriate assistance in accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served.

What You Will Need :

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. CPR course required within 30 days of hire. Completion of Oxygen Training class with certification for administering oxygen required after hire. Nice to

Prior experience in hospital environment, patient care, and transportation preferred.
