Imaging Assistant – Radiology Diagnostic – Mount Sinai Morningside – Full Time – Monday-Friday, 1 PM-9 PM Position Available In New York, New York

Description Provides ancillary support to the technical operation within all areas under general supervision Responsibilities 1. Assists technologist in x-ray room as needed 2. Picks up and distributes requisitions to designated areas as directed 3. Assists with the movement of patients on and off procedure patients in Radiology 4. Locates additional equipment needed for patient transport (oxygen cylinders, IV poles and pump). 5. Maintains continuous contact and responds promptly to request for emergency transport or assistance 6. Returns equipment to designated location for storage as directed by dispatcher or supervisor 7. Reports broken or damaged equipment to the dispatcher or supervisor 8. Delivers broken or damaged equipment to the designated area for repair 9. Develops and duplicates all requested images for the department and replenish film supply for CT scan and other areas as assigned 10. Arrives and departs patients utilizing

IDXRAD 11.

Assists all patients with personal needs as requested. (i.e., assist to bathroom, use of bedpans and care of colostomies 12. Transportation of inpatients, emergency room patients and all other areas as needed to and from the department 13. Observes all patients in the procedure rooms during the absence of the technologist Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Must speak and write English.

Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $27.129 – $29.4685 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
