Patient Transporter Job Responsibilities:

Review daily rehabilitation schedules and be available, as indicated. Provide minimal assistance of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs. Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles. Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments. Operate elevators, as needed. Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents/problems. Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff.

Patient Transporter Education and Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred. At least 1-2 years of transportation experience is preferred. Previous long-term care experience is preferred. Must have experience transporting and transferring residents or patients with physical impairments using facility equipment.

Pay Rate :

Up to $19.00 an hour (Based on Experience) An Equal Opportunity Employer
