Patient Transporter•Transport ServicesJob Summary Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Assist in lifting, turning, positioning and preparing patients for radiology tests/exams, using proper body mechanics. Maintains an environment that is clean and free of clutter and takes appropriate action to correct hazards. Must be able to assist nursing staff in transferring patients to and from the exam table. Will assist patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, beds. Monitors outer core and ensures the area is free on non-essential equipment. Transports non-monitored patients to and from nursing units in a manner conducive to patient safety and comfort. Transports monitored patients with the assistance of a nurse in a manner conductive to patient safety and comfort. Must maintain the cleanliness and availability of the transport equipment. Must maintain supply of oxygen tanks in the department. Must be able to utilize and/or operate tanks, monitors, IV poles, and other devises that may accompany the patient. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
80 Hours Biweekly. Full Time. Day Shift.
Qualifications/Training:
Must possess basic computer skills to complete tasks associated with job duties for this position. Must possess good interpersonal communication skills. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with individuals at various levels of the organization. Must be able to work and function independently during performance of job duties.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
High School diploma preferred/GED.,
