Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate one 45-minute group per week with residential psychiatric patients. Group should include light to moderate exercise and movement for mental and physical health. Provide a positive and uplifting experience for the residents. Collaborate with the wellness coordinator and give advanced notice for time off.
Requirements:
Certification in Group Fitness Instruction or equivalent (ex.
ACE, AFAA, NASM
). CPR/First Aid certification. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, encouraging approach. Experience working with special populations, especially in behavioral health settings, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
