Backstage Physical is a brand-new boutique Pilates studio opening in May-June 2025 in Hallandale Beach, Florida. We offer high-quality group Reformer classes and private sessions using a variety of Pilates equipment including the Reformer, Chair, Tower, and Ladder Barrel. Our mission is to empower individuals of all levels to move mindfully and feel strong in a welcoming and modern space.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, certified Pilates Instructor to teach: Group Reformer classes (up to 8-10 clients per class) Private and semi-private sessions using all major Pilates apparatus The ideal candidate is passionate about Pilates, confident in teaching both beginners and advanced clients, and committed to delivering exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities:

Lead dynamic and safe group Reformer classes Teach one-on-one and duo/trio sessions using Reformer, Tower, Chair, and other equipment Provide clear verbal and tactile cueing Modify exercises to accommodate different skill levels, injuries, or limitations Ensure proper equipment setup and studio cleanliness Maintain a warm, motivating, and professional environment

Requirements:

Comprehensive Pilates certification (Polestar, Balanced Body, STOTT or similar) Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (group and private sessions) Strong understanding of anatomy, movement principles, and alignment Confident, reliable, and able to manage groups up to 10 people CPR/First Aid certification preferred English fluency; additional languages a plus

Compensation & Schedule:

Part-time with flexible hours Competitive per-class and private session rates (based on experience) Studio opens May-June 2025
