Job Summary:

With a diverse range of class formats in our heated studio, we cater to practitioners of every level. Join our team as a Yoga Instructor and inspire our members to lead healthier lives through the practice of yoga. We are seeking an instructor who is able to teach at least three classes per week and act as a substitute as needed. T&J Yoga is an exciting boutique, brimming with potential. We offer small classes (capped at 10) that allow instructors to tailor to the needs of each student. Note:
Pay advertised is per class and includes arriving 15 minutes prior to class and cleaning the room post class.
Responsibilities:
Invest in our students and maintain a consistent presence while teaching and practicing at the studio Participate in new instructor auditions as needed Arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes before class start time to set-up and 15 minutes after for cleanup Set up classroom appropriately (props, mat spacing, music, lighting; clean up after class ends Engage with students to help them meet their goals Actively promote classes and events
Requirements:
Certified teacher with experience in Vinyasa, Power, Restorative and Yin yoga styles (chair is a plus) Minimum RYT 200-hour certification from a recognized program Comfortable teaching smaller class sizes Available to teach morning and evening classes Strong knowledge of various yoga styles and techniques Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate yoga poses Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics related to yoga practice Strong knowledge of the Yamas and Niyamas preferred CPR certification preferred Basic computer skills; experience with Wellness Living a plus
