Currently, we are seeking a certified and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our dynamic team at Timber Creek Community in Fort Myers, FL.

Job Description:

As a Yoga Instructor at Timber Creek Community, you will lead yoga classes, providing expert instruction and guidance to participants of all levels. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for yoga, a solid understanding of various yoga styles and philosophies, and the ability to create a tranquil, inclusive, and supportive class environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct yoga classes for groups, offering a range of styles and levels to accommodate all participants. Design and implement class sequences, ensuring a balanced, effective, and safe practice for students. Provide clear, precise instruction and demonstrate postures to guide students through their practice. Adjust and modify poses to suit individual needs and ensure a safe, accessible practice for everyone. Create a serene and inviting class atmosphere, promoting mindfulness, relaxation, and the overall well-being of participants. Stay informed about the latest yoga trends, techniques, and wellness practices to ensure a holistic and enriching experience for students. Build and maintain positive relationships within the community, fostering a culture of health, mindfulness, and unity.

Requirements:

Certification from a recognized yoga teacher training program. Additional certification in CPR/First Aid. Proven experience as a Yoga Instructor, with a strong personal practice and understanding of yoga principles. Ability to teach a variety of yoga styles to students of different skill levels and physical abilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive class environment. Understanding of anatomy and the ability to offer pose modifications to prevent injuries and support individual practice. Organizational skills for managing class schedules and effectively promoting classes within the community. Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to offer classes at times convenient for community members.

Compensation:
