Position Overview As a Barre Instructor at Posh Life, you’ll choreograph and teach high-energy barre classes (1:1, small groups, and open studio). Your dynamic cueing, precise modifications, and client-centered approach will elevate everyone—from barre newcomers to advanced participants—while building a loyal following. Key Responsibilities Lead 50-minute barre classes (minimum 5-6 per week) that excite, challenge, and transform . Use hand weights, bodyweight, proper form, and musical rhythm to create safe, effective workouts . Offer modifications and advance variations to meet clients of all fitness levels . Maintain a clean, professional studio—set up barres and equipment before class and ensure sanitization after . Build personal connections with clients to nurture community, retention, and promote class packages. Actively participate in monthly team trainings, choreography updates, and studio events . Qualifications Certified in barre instruction (e.g., Barre Above, Booty Barre, Pure Barre, Core Barre, or equivalent) . Minimum 1 year teaching barre or similar group fitness (dance, Pilates, strength) . Strong verbal cues, motivational style, and group rapport. CPR/AED (First Aid preferred). Energetic, reliable, and team-oriented with availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
