Yoga and Pilates Instructor Rooted in Strength Pilates Shreveport, LA 71115 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a desire to educate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals. This role involves leading group classes, designing personalized programs, and fostering a welcoming environment for all participants. A well-rounded knowledge of anatomy and experience in related fitness disciplines such as Yoga, Kickboxing, or CrossFit is highly desirable. Responsibilities Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for various skill levels, ensuring safety and proper technique. Educate clients on the principles of Pilates, anatomy, and overall wellness. Design customized fitness programs that cater to individual client needs and goals. Promote additional fitness offerings such as Yoga, Kickboxing, or cycling to enhance client engagement. Maintain a clean and organized studio environment. Assist with fitness sales by promoting classes and programs to potential clients. Foster a positive community atmosphere among clients and staff. Experience Certification in Pilates instruction is required; additional certifications in Yoga, Kickboxing, or Group Fitness are a plus. Proven experience in program design and group fitness instruction. Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to movement and exercise. Previous experience in a fitness sales environment is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
