This individual will join our team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics to deliver exceptional client services through our facilities’ programming. Classes take place daily in the mornings and evenings. We are currently seeking individuals to support HIIT, Yoga, Water Aerobics and other functional area programming for the facility.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes, as directed by the director/coordinator, to accomplish LIVunLtd and our client’s mission and goals. Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members. Ensure safety of members through exercise technique and make appropriate modifications if necessary. Builds effective, authentic relationships with members. Keeps accurate class attendance records. Ensures facility, equipment and environment are appropriately prepared for each class.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
At least one (1) year experiencing teaching various types of group exercise classes Must maintain active
CPR, AED
certification and relevant fitness certifications from a Nationally Accredited Certification, such as
AFAA, ACE, NASM, NSCA
– CSCS, CPT or ACSM, etc. Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style Capable of incorporating a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
