Fitness Instructor James Island FitBody Bootcamp 778 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and health, with the ability to motivate and educate clients in various fitness programs. This role requires a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and providing exceptional service in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct individual and group fitness classes, including but not limited to CrossFit, cycling, and strength training sessions. Develop personalized fitness programs tailored to clients’ goals, abilities, and needs. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, anatomy, and physiology to ensure safe and effective workouts. Assist with fitness sales by promoting membership packages and personal training services. Maintain a clean and organized workout area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients, tracking their progress and adjusting programs as necessary. Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and research to enhance program design. Requirements Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor or similar role within a gym or health club setting. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and program design principles. Experience in sports coaching or fitness sales is highly desirable. Ability to educate clients effectively on various fitness topics. Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM) is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
