Position Overview:
Step into a specialized long-term acute care hospital in the heart of Ocala and take the reins as a hands-on pharmacist with potential PIC responsibilities. You’ll be essential to daily operations, bringing both your clinical expertise and leadership mindset to a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide full-scope inpatient pharmacy services in a 31-bed LTAC hospital Review and verify medication orders and ensure optimal patient outcomes Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to manage high-acuity cases Support sterile compounding, dispensing, and inventory oversight Serve as PIC if needed—providing leadership, compliance oversight, and operational support
Ideal Candidate:
Confident, reliable, and collaborative in a clinical inpatient setting Proactive in identifying needs and stepping up where support is needed Comfortable operating independently in a smaller hospital environment
Job Requirements:
Active Florida Pharmacist License (unrestricted) Florida Consultant Pharmacist License (required) Inpatient hospital experience (required) PIC experience or willingness to assume PIC responsibilities
